What is your astrology number?
Your astrology number, known in numerology as your Life Path number, is the single most important number drawn from your date of birth. Where your zodiac sign comes from the sky, your Life Path comes from the maths of the day you were born. It describes the overall theme of your life: your natural strengths, the lessons you keep meeting, and the direction that feels most like home. Think of it as the headline of your numerology chart.
How the number finder works
The finder needs one thing only: your date of birth. It reduces your birth month, day and year each down to a single digit, adds the three together, and reduces once more to land on your Life Path number, from 1 to 9, or a master number (11, 22 or 33). It also gives you your Birthday number, the day of the month you were born reduced down, which points to a special talent you carry. No birth time or place required.
How to calculate it by hand
Say you were born on 25 December 1990. Reduce each part, then add and reduce again:
- Month: December is 12, and 1 + 2 = 3
- Day: 25, and 2 + 5 = 7
- Year: 1990, and 1 + 9 + 9 + 0 = 19, then 1 + 9 = 10, then 1 + 0 = 1
- Add them: 3 + 7 + 1 = 11 — a master number, so you keep it

Master numbers: 11, 22 and 33
When your total lands on 11, 22 or 33, you do not reduce it further. These are the master numbers, the most charged and demanding paths in numerology. They carry the gifts of their root number turned up high, with the pressure to match.
