Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Seotal Enterprises, a business established in India that operates Astro Logyic ("Astro Logyic", "we", "us" or "our"), governing your access to and use of astrologyic.com and all related tools, features and services (together, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or clicking or tapping any control to sign in, sign up or continue, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Please read these Terms carefully. They include important disclaimers, an "as is" provision, a limitation of our liability, an indemnification obligation, and a dispute-resolution section with an arbitration agreement and a class-action waiver that affect how disputes are resolved.

1. Eligibility and acceptance

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements and that any information you provide is accurate. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind it to these Terms.

2. What Astro Logyic is

Astro Logyic is an educational and entertainment tool that calculates birth charts and explains them with logic, including through automated, AI-generated explanations. It is provided for learning, self-reflection and entertainment only.

3. Entertainment only; not professional advice

All content on the Service, including charts, readings, horoscopes, lessons and AI-generated explanations, is provided for general informational and entertainment purposes only and is not professional advice of any kind. It is not a substitute for, and must not be relied on in place of, the advice of a qualified professional. You must not use the Service for, and we are not responsible for any decision you make regarding, medical, mental-health, psychological, legal, financial, investment, relationship, career, safety or other important matters. Astrology is not a science, and no outcome, prediction or result is promised or guaranteed. Always seek the advice of an appropriately qualified professional, and never disregard or delay seeking such advice because of something you read on the Service. You use the Service, and act on any content, entirely at your own risk.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account or any other security breach.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or to protect the Service or other users.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to, and not to permit anyone else to:

break, probe or circumvent the security, authentication or access controls of the Service;
scrape, crawl, harvest, cache or index the Service except as permitted by our published rules, or place an unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
copy, resell, sublicense, rent, lease or otherwise commercially exploit the Service or its content without our written permission;
reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code, except to the limited extent the law expressly permits;
use the Service to build, train or improve a competing product or any machine-learning model;
upload or transmit malware, or use the Service to infringe others' rights, harass, defame, or engage in unlawful, deceptive or harmful conduct; or
misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

6. AI-generated content

Some content is generated automatically by artificial intelligence. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or inappropriate, and may not reflect the views of Astro Logyic. We do not warrant the accuracy, reliability or fitness of any AI-generated content, and you must use your own judgement and not rely on it. The disclaimers and limitations in these Terms apply fully to AI-generated content.

7. Intellectual property and licence

The Service, including its name, logos, design, text, graphics, software and underlying technology, is owned by Astro Logyic or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your own non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Your birth data and saved charts remain yours. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, reproduce and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use them without restriction or obligation to you.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on, and may link to, third-party services (such as Supabase, Cloudflare, Anthropic and Google). We are not responsible for third-party services or content, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms. We do not endorse and are not liable for any third-party websites or resources.

9. Fees

Some features are free and others may require payment. Where fees apply, they will be described at the point of purchase, and you agree to pay all applicable fees and taxes. Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, payments are non-refundable. We may change our fees prospectively; changes will not affect a billing period already paid for.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service and all content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties or conditions of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free or free of harmful components, that defects will be corrected, or that any content or result is accurate, reliable or complete. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Astro Logyic, its owners, operators, employees, suppliers or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your access to or use of (or inability to use) the Service or any content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), statute or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the liability, or (b) USD 100. These limitations form an essential basis of the bargain between you and us. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you; in that case our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law.

12. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Astro Logyic and its owners, operators, employees, suppliers and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms or any applicable law; (c) your violation of any rights of a third party; or (d) any content or information you submit to the Service.

13. Governing law

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Subject to the dispute-resolution section below, the courts located in India will have jurisdiction. Nothing in this section deprives you of any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence, or of the protections of the GDPR or UK GDPR if you are in the EEA or the UK.

14. Dispute resolution; arbitration; class-action waiver

Informal resolution first. Before starting any formal proceeding, you agree to contact us at hello@astrologyic.com and try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

Binding arbitration. To the maximum extent permitted by law, any dispute that is not resolved informally will be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 of India, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in a small-claims or consumer forum where eligible. The seat and venue of arbitration will be in India, conducted by a sole arbitrator in the English language, and the award will be final and binding. The arbitration will be conducted on an individual basis.

Class-action waiver. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you and we agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims.

Time limit. To the extent permitted by law, any claim relating to the Service must be brought within one (1) year after it arises, otherwise it is permanently barred.

This section does not apply where prohibited by law, and nothing in it waives any mandatory rights you have as a consumer.

15. Suspension, termination and changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend or discontinue the Service or any part of it at any time, with or without notice. We may also suspend or terminate your access at any time if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service, other users or us. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification and dispute resolution) will survive.

16. Force majeure

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labour disputes, governmental action, internet or power failures, or failures of third-party providers.

17. General

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will stay in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. There are no third-party beneficiaries. Headings are for convenience only.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, take additional steps where required by law. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
