Astrologyic ("we", "us") helps you read your birth chart with logic. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short and in plain English, the same way we teach astrology.

What we collect

• Account details — your email address and a securely hashed password when you create an account.
• Birth data — the birth date, time and place you enter to cast a chart. We use it to calculate your chart and generate your lessons. You can use the free chart tool without an account; data is only saved when you choose to save a chart while signed in.
• Technical data — basic request information (such as IP address) handled by our hosting provider for security and reliability.

How we use it

• To calculate your natal chart and produce the explanations you ask for.
• To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
• To operate, protect and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your birth data for advertising.

Who processes your data

We rely on a few trusted providers who process data on our behalf:

• Supabase — database, authentication and storage of your account and saved charts.
• Anthropic (Claude) — generates lesson explanations. When you request an explanation, the relevant chart placements are sent to Anthropic to produce the text. It is not used to train models on your data.
• Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery.

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. A theme preference is stored locally in your browser only.

Your choices

• You can view and delete any saved chart from your dashboard at any time.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us.
• You can use the free chart tool without creating an account at all.

Data retention & security

We keep your data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Access is protected by row-level security so only you can see your saved charts. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

Astrologyic is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service grows. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
