Astro Logyic is a service operated by Seotal Enterprises, a business established in India ("Astro Logyic", "we", "us" or "our"). It helps you read your birth chart with logic. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how and why we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to astrologyic.com and all related tools, features and services (together, the "Service"). Please read it together with our Terms of Service.

1. Who we are and how to contact us

The Service is operated by Seotal Enterprises, a business established in India, which is the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy. For any privacy question, request or complaint, contact us at hello@astrologyic.com. If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom and need a contact for data-protection matters, please use the same address and mark it "Privacy / Data Protection".

2. The information we collect

We collect only what we need to provide and protect the Service:

• Account details. Your email address and a securely hashed password when you create an account. If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile information (name, email and account identifier) from Google so we can create and secure your account.
• Birth data. The birth date, and optionally the birth time and place, that you enter to cast a chart. We use it to calculate your chart and generate explanations and lessons. You can use the free chart tool without an account; birth data is only stored on our systems when you choose to save a chart while signed in.
• Content you create. Saved charts, lesson progress, notes and any messages you send to the AI astrologer or to us.
• Technical and usage data. Information generated automatically when you use the Service, such as IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring pages, and basic security and performance logs. Our hosting and security providers process this to keep the Service reliable and to prevent abuse.
• Communications. If you email us, we keep your message and contact details so we can respond and keep records.

We do not intentionally collect more than this. Please do not send us sensitive information we have not asked for.

3. Birth data and other sensitive information

Your birth date, time and place are used purely to perform astronomical and astrological calculations. We do not use this information to infer, and you should not treat the Service as providing, any health, medical, religious, philosophical or other "special category" determination about you. By entering birth data and, where applicable, saving it to your account, you consent to our processing it for the purposes described in this policy. You can withdraw that consent at any time by deleting the saved chart or your account, which stops further processing without affecting processing already carried out.

4. How and why we use your information (legal bases)

We use your information to:

• calculate your natal chart and produce the explanations, readings and lessons you request;
• create, secure and operate your account and keep you signed in;
• provide customer support and respond to your requests;
• monitor, maintain, debug and improve the Service, and develop new features;
• protect the Service, our users and Astro Logyic against fraud, abuse, security incidents and other harmful or illegal activity; and
• comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service and other agreements.

Where the EEA or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract with you (to provide the Service you ask for); your consent (for example, to store your birth data, which you may withdraw at any time); our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the Service, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights; and compliance with a legal obligation where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use your birth data for advertising.

5. AI-generated explanations

To generate lesson text and readings, the relevant chart placements and your questions are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to produce a response. This processing is necessary to deliver the feature you request. Anthropic processes the data on our instructions and does not use it to train its models. AI-generated content is produced automatically, is provided for education and entertainment, and may be inaccurate or incomplete; see our Terms of Service.

6. How we share information and our processors

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only for the services they provide to us:

• Supabase — database, authentication and storage of your account and saved charts.
• Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, and security and performance protection.
• Anthropic (Claude) — generating lesson explanations and readings, as described above.
• Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google, to authenticate you.

We may also disclose information: (a) to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process or an enforceable governmental or law-enforcement request; (b) to enforce our terms or protect the rights, property, safety or security of Astro Logyic, our users or the public; (c) to detect, prevent or address fraud, security or technical issues; and (d) in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, financing, acquisition, reorganisation, bankruptcy or sale of all or part of our assets, in which case personal information may be transferred as a business asset, subject to this policy.

7. International data transfers

We are based in India, and we and our providers may process and store information in countries other than your own, including India, the United States and the European Union. Those countries may have data-protection laws that differ from yours. Where we transfer personal information out of the EEA or the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum), or another lawful transfer mechanism, and we take additional measures to protect the data in transit and at rest. A copy of the relevant safeguards is available on request at hello@astrologyic.com. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be processed in these locations.

8. Cookies, analytics and consent

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in, plus local storage for your theme preference and your cookie choice (these stay in your browser and are not sent to us). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share your data.

We also use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand aggregate, anonymous usage of the Service. For visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we display a cookie-consent banner and do not load analytics until you choose "Accept all". If you choose "Reject non-essential", only the strictly necessary cookie is used. Your choice is remembered in your browser; clear your browser storage to be asked again. Outside these regions, where consent is not legally required, analytics load by default and you can still opt out by clearing storage and rejecting. You can clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings at any time (doing so will sign you out).

9. How long we keep your information

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Saved charts and lesson progress are kept until you delete them or close your account. Technical and security logs are kept for a limited period for security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention. We may retain certain information for longer where we are required to do so by law, or where it is necessary to resolve disputes, enforce our agreements or protect our legal rights. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it.

10. How we protect your information

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and database row-level security so that only you can access your saved charts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where required by law.

11. Your privacy rights

You can exercise several rights over your information:

• View and delete any saved chart from your dashboard at any time.
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and associated personal information by emailing us.
• Withdraw consent for processing that relies on consent (such as stored birth data).
• Use the free chart tool without creating an account at all.

To make a request, email hello@astrologyic.com from the address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

12. Region-specific rights (EEA/UK and California)

EEA and UK (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are in the EEA or the UK, the General Data Protection Regulation (and the UK GDPR) gives you the following rights over your personal information:

• Access — to be told whether we process your data and to receive a copy of it.
• Rectification — to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
• Erasure — to have your data deleted ("right to be forgotten") where the law allows.
• Restriction — to limit how we use your data in certain cases.
• Objection — to object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
• Portability — to receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and have it transmitted to another controller where technically feasible.
• Withdraw consent — at any time, for processing that relies on consent, without affecting earlier processing.

The legal bases we rely on are set out in section 4 above. We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you based solely on automated processing. To exercise any right, email hello@astrologyic.com; we respond within one month (extendable where the law permits). As we are established outside the EEA/UK, you can reach us, including any EU/UK data-protection representative we appoint under Article 27, at the same address marked "Data Protection". You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office), though we would welcome the chance to address your concerns first.

California

If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, the right to request access to and deletion of it, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would require an opt-out. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may make a request using the contact details above.

13. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children. You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

14. Third-party links

The Service may link to third-party websites or services that we do not control. This policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please review their policies before providing them with personal information.

15. Nature of the Service

Astro Logyic provides astrological content for education, self-reflection and entertainment. It is not professional advice of any kind, and the information we process is used only to provide that content, not to make decisions about you. See our Terms of Service for important disclaimers and limitations.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the Service evolves or as the law changes. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, take additional steps where required by law. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
